Information about Hilary
Throughout my industrial and academic career, I have used my BSc, MSc and PhD in Chemistry and up to undergraduate training in Biology, Physics and Maths to enthuse the next generation of scientists into Scientific careers.
Availability: This tutor has currently got limited availability for Chemistry tuition only, for the academic year 2022-2023.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: As Head of Science in a secondary school and an AQQ examiner, I currently teach all sciences to GCSE and Chemistry at A-Level. I also have extensive experience in tutoring across multiple exam boards including Edexcal, AQA, OCR, Pre-U. Tutoring sessions have been 1:1 and 1:Group.
With this experience, I am very strongly positioned and experienced in getting the very best from students of all abilities. My tutoring will focus on understanding and love of subject matter rather than learning/memorising key content with all emphasis on exam skills and success.
