Information about Li
I am very passionate about languages and cultures. I am fluent in both Mandarin and English and have been teaching Mandarin for the last 10 years. My other big passions are travelling and learning all sorts of things new. I am looking forward to sharing my love of the Chinese language with you.
Availability: Morning, afternoon and evenings.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I cover all four elements of language teaching syllabus, including listening, speaking, reading and writing. I have tutored students for the past 10 years, ranging from complete beginners, to GCSE students, A level students, HSK students and business professionals.
I am very keen to help students discover their own ways of learning and develop their own techniques. I believe in consistency when it comes to learning a language. A little bit everyday is proven effective in the long term for language learning.

Ms Li is helping my daughter to get ready for her Chinese GCSEs. First she determined her level very accurately and created a lesson plan taking into account areas where my daughter needs to work more, as well es exam deadlines and current workload at school. During the classes she finds ways to learn, so Alisa can remember things (characters, sentence structures, etc) better and easilier. We can already see the progress and are confident that Alisa will be ready for her GCSEs. On top of that the classes are really fun and Alisa is looking forward to them every week! We couldn`t even dream about it! Can definitely recommend!!
