I have taught English for seventeen years, spending the last eight at my local secondary school in Stroud. Before that I spent the previous six years at a secondary school in Churchdown, where I was an `Outstanding` teacher in a department that was rated `Outstanding` by Ofsted.

I currently teach 11-16 year olds, specialising in students who struggle with literacy and GCSE grade 4/5 borderline students. I have also taught Gifted and Talented and Particularly Able students and have a proven track record across a range of ages.

I am also an experienced examiner who currently marks for a popular GCSE exam board.

I am a friendly, passionate English teacher and I live with my wife and two young sons in Stroud.

I always make time to read, I enjoy playing football and I`m a member of a Stroud writing group.

Availability: Weekdays after 4, with the possibility of weekends.
