Beginning my language learning journey at age 11, I discovered a real drive to learn German. I threw myself into my studies and went on to study German and Spanish at university, gaining a first class honours degree. Having spent much time both studying and working in German and Spanish speaking countries, I`m fluent in both languages and am deeply convinced of the many benefits of multilingualism.

After my degree I went on to become a primary school teacher, and can therefore offer German and Spanish lessons to children and adults, in addition to Maths and English lessons to primary children.

I`m a warm and patient teacher, and am keen for my students to get as much as they can out of our lessons. In our initial lesson, I`ll talk to you and/or your child to ascertain what you want to achieve and will devise a programme of study based on this. My background in teaching means that I am skilled at planning high quality, focussed lessons that aim for fast and sustained progress.

Experience: *First class honours degree in German and Spanish
*Qualified primary school teacher (with 4 years experience, including as Maths Lead and Head of Year 3)
*Mentored trainee primary teachers
*Trained in teaching English as an additional language (with 4 months experience teaching in Chile)
*Experience in teaching English one-to-one in various Spanish speaking countries
