I really enjoy teaching languages. Often the class room can be a stifling or intimidating environment and it is so rewarding helping tutees find their feet, whilst enjoying and gaining confidence in the target language. I am still in contact with my French teacher from when I was 11 years old – and from that I understand the beneficial effects a good working relationship can have in education.

I was born in London but grew up in Oxfordshire before coming back to London when I was 12 to live in Chiswick, West London. I attended boarding school at Cheltenham College and went on to study French and Spanish at UCL where I spent as much time as possible learning the languages. I spent time in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Nice and Paris during my year abroad and remain in touch with many friends from that time.
