I am a Maths student at the University of Leeds who has 500+ hours of tutoring experience. The main reason I started tutoring was the feeling of joy I felt helping my peers understand concepts whilst in secondary school studying for my own GCSE`s. Having personally achieved a "Grade 9" in the new GCSE Maths curriculum, and an "A*" in the new A-level Maths syllabus, I know what it takes to reach the top marks - I make sure to share the resources which helped exponentiate my knowledge in Maths with my students.

Also, I integrate exam questions into every lesson for my students because I believe the best way to learn Maths is to employ an active hands-on approach; to solve Math problems! I have been told my approach to teaching is fun, enjoyable, and easy-to-understand. I take time in the first lesson to grasp the learning style of the student to tailor future lessons to their utmost benefit. When teaching a topic, I make sure I cover every point in the specification, so my students are well-equipped for exam success! Before moving on from a topic, I prepare a 20-minute test of the topic my students may have been learning in the last 2 weeks so my students are comfortable and confident with every topic. All of my students have either achieved or surpassed their target grade.

Availability: I am available on weekdays after 5 pm and on weekends.
