I have recently completed my PhD in history at UCL. I hold a bachelor`s and master`s degree in history from the University of Tokyo.
Availability: I am flexible with dates and times. I am currently teaching via Zoom or MS Teams.

Experience: I am a qualified history teacher and taught World History at high school in Japan. I was also tutoring primary school pupils for a Japanese family in maths, Japanese and English. I have been teaching Japanese as a tutor since 2020.

Yoko has helped tremendously in giving my daughter more confidence with her speaking and writing already. She has a clear plan of what they will be studying and she is enjoying her lessons so much.

Very satisfied. Yoko has a high-level academic background and she did a great job with my 6 year old, who was resistant to having a lesson. Yoko gently coaxed her and succeeded in delivering a very good lesson including a read through of a Japanese book. This showed considerable teaching skill.
