Information about Giovanni Manuel
I am a Mathematics graduate with an MSc. Degree in Applied Statistics. I currently teaching part-time at Cambridge Seminars College (ESL English, Mathematics and Statistics). I have experience tutoring students for a number of subjects ranging from KS3 to undergraduate level. Excellent communication skills and fluency (both verbal and written) in 3 languages (Spanish, Italian and English) and a passionate approach to teaching. I have a natural tendency to explore conceptual aspects of learning in depth, so as to gain a stronger understanding of the topic myself. I believe a good teaching consists of explaining possibly complicated concepts in a clear manner and making use of basic principles this is only possible if the teacher himself has deeply understood the concepts in question. Furthermore, being passionate about what you teach is a way of developing the students enthusiasm with regards to the subject which provides the motivation needed to succeed.
Additionally, I have recently published a scientific (see link below)
