Hello, my name is Simone and I currently study Medicine at the University of Aberdeen, after graduating with a 2.1 in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol.

I have 3 years of tutoring experience, am well versed in the current curriculum, and have a well-rounded understanding of GCSE and A-level subjects achieving 13A*-B at GCSE and 3 As at A-level.

My approach focuses on tailoring lessons to each student’s ability, whether they are struggling on a particular topic or wish to get ahead of the class. My lessons improve their scientific understanding whilst explaining how to implement this information in exam context. I use their subject exam board (AQA, OCR, Edexcel ect..) specification and explain each syllabus requirement using a range of tools (textbooks, visual diagrams, definitions flashcards) enabling the student to develop their understanding, and then guide them through past paper questions confirming their knowledge.

I specialise in Biology at A-level and GCSE but I’m also able to teach Chemistry and Maths at GCSE and KS3 level. Furthermore I provide coaching lessons to sixth form students wishing to maximise the chances of achieveing their desired University place by UKCAT training, general personal statement and medicine personal statement help.

I am PVG certified.
