Information about Harry

Hello, and thanks for visiting my page!

My name is Harry, an aspiring Science Communicator with great people skills and an approachable and friendly demeanour.

I offer my first lesson FREE and only charge £15 an hour. I had a great experience with a private tutor during my A Levels and am really keen to give something back!

On top of offering tutoring for A Level and GCSE sciences, I also offer advice on getting the most out of your University experience, handling interviews and exams, and advice on life after graduation and getting into the job market.

With my education, people skills and love of science, I hope that I can be an engaging and helpful tutor who will not only help students achieve their educational goals, but do so as painlessly as possibly!

Availability: Any weekday evening

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have been tutoring GCSE and A Level students since November 2014.

I am an aspiring science communicator and in 2015 began studying an MSc in Science Communication at Imperial College London.

In July 2014 I graduated with a 2:1 from the University of Manchester where I studied a BSc in Physiology. I studied my GCSEs and A Levels at Malmesbury School in Wiltshire where in 2011 I achieved an A in A Level Biology and a B in A Level Physics. In 2009 I attained two A*s in GCSE Double Sciences.

On top of this, in recent months I have run young adult science workshops, volunteered at the science museum @Bristol, as well as written science articles for my local GP surgery`s section in the local Newspaper. I have had experience teaching my younger siblings when they have struggled with science at school.

My final year project at University was a Science Communication project based on diabetes, and this project required me to teach different demographics (from A Level students to Academics) about diabetes using a variety of formats.
