I am a qualified science teacher who teaches in a secondary school. I do tutoring in my spare time.
I am able to offer expert level tuition and support in order to allow students to achieve the top grades they need.

The new curriculum of GCSE 9-1 has made it more difficult for students to secure a decent pass grade as well as top grades.

Experiences of tutoring young students of different culture and background has given me the ability to adapt to the individual’s learning needs. I have significant success with helping to boost the grades of everyone I have tutored and will continue to do so if we work together.

My approach is geared on achieving as much student progress as possible and boosting the grades of the student by adapting the tutoring to their specific need. I am familiar with all the major exam boards for GCSE and A-Level (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and will also help the student with exam technique for each of the boards.

My tutoring sessions involve the following:
- Assess starting point of the student and devise a progress plan
- Help student understand tough concepts that they missed in class
- Work ahead of the class
- Help student with revision for end of topic tests or mocks
- Help with homework
- Exam preparation with various revision strategies
- Provide Mock exam papers
- Provide Model answers and go over mistakes together
- Provide tailored questions/worksheets and many more resources which I print for no extra cost

As well as being an active secondary school teacher, I also have a vast library of resources including the latest spec textbooks/workbooks and exam questions for all the major exam boards.
