Since achieving QTS as a Primary School Teacher, my experience extends to nine full time years in mainstream primary education, up to this point, I have mentored six PGCE students.

Currently I work in alternative provisions as a SEND/SEMH Teacher whilst progressing to achieve a NPQSL to enhance my knowledge, expertise and leadership skills within the education sector.

Experience: I completed my PGCE (School Direct) in Primary Education at the University of Leicester (outstanding Ofsted inspection, 2015-2016). I was one of the few NQTs to be chosen for the selection process for the Ofsted inspection which included observations.

I always take on extra responsibilities in my teaching roles such as Lead for English, Reading, Phonics and Physical Education. I have been involved in GOOD Ofsted reports as Reading and Physical Education Lead, these were proud moments.

I hold a BSc (Honours) Degree in Applied Sport Science awarded by Loughborough University.
My leadership experience extends to being a student mentor whilst studying at Loughborough University and being a sports coach for Primary Schools with Premier Sport.

In addition to this, I have worked within Primary and Secondary Schools across Leicestershire and the midlands, teaching subjects across the curriculum for a number of teaching agencies as a supply teacher.

I have embarked on my own Personal Training business (MHPT) and worked for the National Citizen Service as a Senior Mentor.

I`ve had the opportunity to be a Strength and Conditioning coach at Nottingham Trent University through a company called Sport981. My experience includes training Elite Athletes at Loughborough and Nottingham Trent University working with UKSCA Accredited Exercise Professionals providing sport science support and strength and conditioning.

My previous qualifications include:

* Performance Enhancement Specialist
* Qualified Personal Trainer

All acquired at Nottingham Trent University
educated by UKSCA Accredited Exercise Professionals at Sport981 through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.


Prior to this my experience extends into the Leisure Industry with three years of Duty Management duties.
