I am a Liverpool based Violin and Composition teacher with a well rounded musical education from some of the most prestigious institutions in the UK. I began my violin and composition studies at Chetham`s School of Music, and then continued my education at the Royal College of Music, London, where I graduated with distinction. I am currently studying for a Masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.

I would be an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor for all levels. And have received training on teaching methods whilst at Royal College of Music. I am an experienced private tutor and also teach as a cover tutor at Royal Northern College of Music Junior Department.

I am willing to teach in a range of styles but with a focus on improving technique enabling the student to produce a high quality sound. [contact detail removed] I therefore have an open mind about style and the lessons would be a balance between having fun, enjoying learning, and being focussed on improvement.

I do strongly believe that the discipline of learning an instrument greatly influences other life areas in a positive way and I find it useful to pass on this belief to my students.

Availability: Wednesday afternoons and early evening.

Experience: Violin performer as both soloist and orchestral player having performed with Sir Mark Elder in orchestra and as soloist in venues such as Bridgewater Hall. Most recent performances include St George`s Hall Liverpool, Knowsley Hall, West Tower Ormskirk and Castle St Townhouse.

Adam blends classical and pop in his unique style of performing but has built his violin technique on firm classical foundations.
