Information about Paul

I am a history teacher, experienced private tutor and writer.

Having completed my PhD in 2016, I am a published historian who has written books (English Uprising: Brexit and the Mainstreaming of the Far Right - nominated Guardian Book of the Day), peer-reviewed journal articles, book reviews and acted as a historical consultant.

In addition to being a Private Tutor, I am a Teacher of History at Notting Hill and Ealing High School - a leading independent day school in London and part of the Girls Day School Trust. Previously, I was subject leader and Teacher of History at Chelsea Independent College. I have also been a lecturer at Richmond University.

I am passionate about history and love my job as a history teacher and private tutor. I enjoy working with young people and always seek to motivate my students to be enthusiastic about history and achieve the best possible results.

Paul is an excellent tutor. He helped my daughter with her A-Level History and not only increased her topic knowledge, but coached her on exam techniques which helped bolster her confidence enormously. Paul is extremely caring and dedicated to his pupils. He is always well prepared with work set at the correct level and is both challenging and knowledgeable throughout each session. I cannot speak highly enough of this tutor, who is thorough, adaptive, personable and highly competent. We would recommend him highly as a tutor.
