Experience: My tutoring involves ensuring that pupils have a solid understanding of the foundations in science, to remove any misconceptions and gaps in knowledge that pupils may have. All the tuition is tailored specifically to the different exam board specifications (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, IGCSE).
In addition to my teaching role at KS3-KS5, my examiner role has meant the I can explain to students how to answer questions to be awarded full marks. My tuition involves modelling to students how to answer question, which students can apply to further practice questions. Furthermore, I have had experience as curriculum leader of chemistry.
All my students have reported higher confidence in science and have progressed in grades through my tuition.
In addition to weekly tuition sessions, I offer intense holiday tuition packages.

Waseema is an excellent tutor! Her lessons are well structured, focused and tailored to what my child requests each week. He describes her as extremely helpful in teaching him how to prepare for and answer GCSE exam questions. She explains the subject topics very clearly, in an interesting way, and her lessons are adapted to his learning needs - ADD and dyslexia. He says she also has a good sense of humour which makes the lessons even more enjoyable.

Waseema was wonderful with my daughter, she is very knowledgeable in her subject of choice and I would highly recommend her. She connects with the child she is tutoring and her enthusiasm for her subject is obvious and this feeds into her lessons. Waseema encourages the child to do better by ensuring that they enjoy the subject. Any child who has Waseema as her tutor will, in my opinion, will succeed in the subject.
