Hi,
I am Oli, I am a teacher with over 12 years experience teaching a range of secondary school subjects. I have been a department leader, assistant headteacher and GCSE/A-Level moderator. My specialty is helping students feel confident about the content they are learning and prepare them effectively for exams.
I have experiences teaching GCSE Science, Maths, Geography and PE and have taught A-Level Biology and PE. I also have experience teaching vocational Sport and Exercise subjects (BTEC and NCFE Sport and Fitness) at both level 2 and level 3.
I am an approachable and friendly tutor who loves his job. My philosophy is to make learning enjoyable and manageable for students. I believe making lessons as engaging as possible and giving them clear small steps means students will make far more progress and help them to feel less overwhelmed.
Availability: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and school holidays

Experience: I have 10 years secondary school teaching experience working at one of the highest performing schools in England for student progress (top 1% in league tables).
I have experience teaching all ages from year 7-13, specialising in GCSE and A-Level exams.

We used Oli for some extra tuition for our daughter’s A level preparation and he was excellent. He has the ability to make what can be a complex subject at that level into something much more easily understandable to the student. He also relates well to his students and certainly our daughter found her lessons to be fun as well as informative.
