I`m a dilligent and enthusiastic tutor and qualified ESL (English as a second language) teacher who is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my lessons are rights for my students. I have a 1st class honours degree in English Literature and Japanese from the University of Central Lancashire. I hold professional TEFL certification and can speak Japanese. I want to help ensure that your child can start the new school year right with all the support they need to succeed in school and have confidence in their own abilities. I believe that a large part of tutoring is about providing your students a safe place to make mistakes away from the judgement of their peers and build their confidence along with their skills and, if possible, a love of learning.

Experience: I have spent the last year working as an English teacher in 4 public schools in Kumamoto, Japan. I spent a lot of that time coaching students individually, both those with exceptional abilities and those for whom English was especially challenging.
