Information about Heather
Hello, and welcome to my Tutorhunt page!
My name is Heather and I specialise in teaching Biology at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I have been teaching for ten years and am a former Head of Biology. I also have a PhD in Systems Biology from The University of Warwick.
I have several digital resources that I use for online lessons, sharing via Teams, Zoom or Skype. All sessions are student-focussed, working on content and examination technique as appropriate. Each week may be different, depending on what the student has gone through at school and what stage they are at in their course.

Dr Heather has started to tutor my son in Biology and it is early days but Dr Heather has been great. Hoping it will show and help enhance his ability to grasp all the complex and difficult topics in Biology.

An amazing teacher! Always helpful, supportive and patient and has great knowledge of the content that needs to be covered for the exams. Not only that, lessons are structured in a way to cover exam questions/practice and revision for each topic to help gain maximum potential. Overall, I am very happy with the progress my son made with Dr Heather... absolutely brilliant teacher... Thank you so much!!
