I am an experienced teacher of Computer Science, with over 25 years as Head of Computing at an outstanding school in Surrey. My students regularly achieve average grades that are above their target grades. Over my years of experience I have developed an in-depth understanding of how to best prepare students for the ordeal of external exams. I am happy to tutor for any exam board. I have an unending interest in my subject and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of preparing students for their finals exams
Availability: Is your son or daughter home schooled? Perhaps you are looking for a Computer Science specialist to teach online lessons for your small school? If so, I can offer GCSE and A-Level lessons during the day on both Wednesdays and Thursdays. In most cases, you will be looking for lessons after school. I normally make evening timeslots available mid-week. Please enquire as to my exact availability.

My son had lessons for 1 year with John and loved the way he taught lessons as they were quick and easy to understand; he`s also very professional. With his help, my son who was told "he`d be lucky to get a 5" ended up with a grade 9 in the end. We`re extremely grateful for his help and couldn`t have done it without him!
