Information about Rachel
Bringing 27 years of primary teaching experience to support your child, I offer individual and small group online tuition to children from year 1 to year 6, tailored to their needs.
I have a wide range of experience, including as an Assistant and then a Deputy Head, I hold a Masters degree in Effective Learning and I am one of the UKs first Chartered Teachers.
If your child has got confused, disheartened or behind, or you want to give them a boost, Im great at working out the problem, filling the gaps and making sure they have the building blocks in place for their next steps.
Availability: I have limited availability for evenings at the moment, but I can offer a little during the day- usually on Wednesdays and Fridays. I`m likely to have more slots opening for evening sessions in September.

Experience: I qualified in 1993 and have been working in schools, as a class teacher, assistant head and deputy head, ever since. I have worked in schools with large proportions of children with a second language and with children with special educational needs. I keep up to date with the requirements of the primary curriculum and have recently qualified as one of the UK`s first Chartered Teachers.
