I am a full-time English tutor with a First Class English Degree from London University, teaching students both in the UK and across the world, including UAE, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Eastern Europe. I help students of all ages and abilities master exam technique with the special insight of a former AQA and Pearson Edexcel examiner. I am experienced across GCSE, iGCSE, and A-Level syllabuses, covering texts such as An Inspector Calls, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Jekyll and Hyde, A Christmas Carol, Poetry Anthologies, The Great Gatsby, The Picture of Dorian Gray, All My Sons, The Color Purple, and many more.

My students consistently achieve outstanding outcomes. In 2025, all of my A-Level students reported gaining places at their chosen universities, while around 90% of GCSE and iGCSE students improved by at least two predicted grades. At 11+ level, 100% of students have secured places at their first-choice schools, including Alleyn`s School, Marlborough College, Kendrick, RGS Guildford, Warminster, Churcher’s College, Portsmouth High, and Farnborough Hill.
I love helping learners reach their potential, whether home-schooled, learning English as a second language, returning to study as an adult, or needing support with dyslexia, anxiety, or autism. Lessons are tailored to each student, building confidence, exam technique, and a deep understanding of challenging texts.

I speak conversational Japanese and have basic knowledge of French and Portuguese, allowing me to connect with students globally. I grew up in Tokyo, attending Nishimachi International School for my primary education, before moving to London to study at Godolphin and Latymer. My family and I love animals and we have two cats and two dogs.
