I am 55 years old with older two children. I am the Head of Humanities and teach History at an international school in North London. I am a huge sports fan, enjoy playing & watching football, and love pub quizzes which I do on a regular basis. I drive so happy to travel to tutor but also comfortable tutoring online using platforms such as Zoom or Google Meets.

Availability: I am happy to do evening lessons and weekends during term time and have plenty of availability during the school holidays including over the summer for any Year 10 or Year 12 pupils going into the second year of a GCSE or A Level course.

Experience: I have been teaching History for 31 years and have taught at seven different schools across Hertfordshire and North London in the state and private sectors. For the past 20 years I have been a GCSE examiner for AQA and currently mark the Superpowers paper. I have tutored extensively for more than 20 years and have excellent knowledge of all the main exam boards and History syllabuses. I can tutor up to A Level and would say my specialist topics are:
A Level: Germany, Italy, Russia, British Empire and WW1
GCSE: Germany, Russia, Superpower relations, Civil Rights, The Vietnam War, International Relations, Medicine, Crime and Punishment, Elizabethan England and the Middle Ages
