Hello Prospective Students and Parents!

My name is Nia, and I am an engaging and friendly tutor with almost 3 years of tutoring experience. I specialise in teaching Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic pupils. I have tutored children of primary school age for Maths and English and those doing Physics GCSE.

After achieving a 9 in my own GCSE Physics exams, and excelling in Maths and Physics A-level, I want to pass on all the tricks I learnt on the way. My tutoring approach involves breaking down subject content into manageable chunks so that learning does not feel overwhelming. Seeing how each student approaches these small pieces of information allows me to majorly personalise my approach to teaching them. I encourage students to discover and unlock their own learning styles with my help so that they can tackle their exams and classwork with confidence and familiarity.

Building a trusting friendly relationship with my students is of the utmost importance. This allows them to feel comfortable admitting mistakes and struggling with certain questions. In addition, this allows me to specifically target weak points so that we can work on making them strengths!

Availability: I am available for sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays during the 2021 Summer Holidays. Please enquire further when it comes to timing.
