Larissa

Hi my name is Larissa, I am currently teaching year 5.

I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with qualified teaching status.

I am an experienced Key Stage 1 and 2 teacher. As a full time teacher I am constantly kept up to date with current practices and expectations of the curriculum.

Working predominantly in Upper Key Stage 2 has given me a wealth of experience in getting children ready for their SATs.

I mainly take on children from KS1 and KS2 with a focus on raising attainment and SATs preparation, particularly in Maths, reading and writing.

As an outstanding teacher I have an up to date knowledge of the current curricula.

Crucially, I have experience in marking Primary examination papers and have attended exam board training meaning I am therefore well versed in teaching examination techniques to achieve the best possible grades.
