I am an Oxford-educated tutor specialising in languages. I speak fluent Russian and French.

In the past 8 years I have worked as a private tutor for various clients. The majority of clients wish to improve their English, and some do not speak English as their first language, but I have also provided specialist exam tuition across other subjects. My ability to speak Russian and French, along with my neutral English accent, ensure communication is clear with parents and students alike.

James has tutored me for the last 2 years in French and has been pivotal in increasing my confidence at spoken french and my grasp of complex French grammar. I was thrilled to receive an A* (60/60 in my written essay paper and 160/164 in my oral exam) since I was previously working at a B grade. The difference between GCSE and A-Level French scared me at first; however, by the time I walked into the exam in June I felt prepared and confident for what I was to face. I cannot thank him enough and would recommend him immediately to anyone who felt the same way I did back in the September of A1.
