Information about Ikechukwu

I grew up in south east London and completed my secondary school education at St. Thomas the Apostle College. Here I achieved 3A*`s, 4A`s and 4B`s all including an A* and A in maths and physics. After this, I went on to complete my A-levels within the same school achieving an A* AC in maths, further maths and physics respectively. It was during my study towards completing my A-levels that I pursued my innate passion for engineering and mathematics. Following on from this, I was then granted admission into the University of Warwick where I studied as a student of an integrated Master`s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
During my degree I improved both my team-work and communication skills by participating in several exciting and complicated projects - the most recent being the improved design of a lightweight motorcycle developed by TVS Motors, India’s 3rd largest manufacturing company using sophisticated software such as Abaqus. Such new and intriguing experiences helped me improve my knowledge as an upcoming mechanical engineer both in my technical and interactive skills. I was also privileged to learn different skills and application of complex calculations using coding software such as MATLAB and Mathematica. It was during my study that I took a keen interest in tutoring as it provided me the opportunity to share my innate understanding and ability to break down common difficult mathematical concepts into very basic steps that students of all levels in education could utilise when answering exam-style questions.

I have graduated from the University of Warwick as qualified Master of Mechanical Engineering with a 2 1. During my Master`s I specialised in the following modules:

- I have 2 years of online GCSE/A-Level maths and further maths tutoring experience (400+ hours)
- I have had the pleasure of tutoring 50+ students from over 15 schools in both locally and internationally, over a wide range of ability levels (countries including Qatar and Cyprus) both online and in-person
- I recently provided professional tutoring services for 16 students (year 12 and 13) in maths with Westminster Kingsway Highschool
- I recently conducted professional tutoring services for a year 12 student in mechanics (predicted an A/B grade) using the CIE (Cambridge Boards) exam board
- Previously completed 76 hours of tutoring for a 13 further maths client over the course of 6 months using the WJEC exam board
- I worked with five SEN students on weekly basis throughout the academic year of 2022/2023
