Hello! I am a fun and creative university language student with a wide portfolio of work and voluntary experience abroad. This includes a combined 9+ months spent in Spanish-speaking Colombia and Bolivia. I continue to carry out some freelance translation work for an animation company based in Bogotá.

I speak Spanish to a C1 level and Portuguese to B2, according the CEFR levels. I am a native English speaker. I am available to tutor up to A-Level, or for conversation support, whether that`s for your work or next holiday.

My time abroad has allowed me to expand my cultural awareness and, most importantly, hone my language skills. I am now in my final year of a BA Spanish and Portuguese degree at the University of Bristol. I have loved studying languages to such a high level and engaging with cultural units. Through my studies, work, and travel, I have found language to be like a key that unlocks a whole world for us to explore and learn from.

As a language student myself I know what it takes to commit to learn something new and see it through to the end. I am familiar with the time it takes to drum grammar and vocab into my subconscious. This often is helped with someone a few steps ahead of you.

I would hope to improve your language skills through consistent practice. Grammar drills and vocab tests are helpful to a certain level, but I would focus on the conversational side of language learning - as this is what I have found to be most helpful.

Availability: I am currently very flexible with my availability between Monday-Friday. I may be able to do Saturday mornings depending on the circumstances.
