I was a Home Tutor for both Maths and English GCSE at a local SEN school, ranked Outstanding, having previously taught in both mainstream and private institutions across all ages.The role demanded innovation and understanding given the students faced challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, dyslexia, ASD and ADHD. I now work in conjunction with families whose children attend a vast range of schools but needing tutoring specifically tailored to needs of their child. A large concentration is given to reviving a flagging interest in the subjects and boosting self-belief and confidence. I also delight in teaching adults returning to studying.
