I am a Maths graduate with several years experience of maths tuition.

Usually the lesson is held at the student`s house.

Sometimes the building blocks of maths are not in place and the student has lost confidence in their abilities as a mathematician. In this case I feel it is important to fill in the gaps and gradually build up the students ability, helping them gain confidence.

Other times the student may just need some extra tuition for a particular exam, an entrance exam or GCSE mathematics. In these cases lots of exam paper practise is important.

Availability: I can be available during the day, in the evening or at weekends, depending on what I am already doing.

Experience: My students have been a mixture of levels up to GSCE. The lessons may be for the purpose of passing an entrance exam, or a SAT or a GCSE.

Sometimes students will have no confidence in their abilities in maths. In these cases I have returned to basics and gradually built up their skills so they can attend to their school work with confidence.

If they are studying for particular exam we go through past papers and revise the parts of the syllabus that they are not so sure about. When they then do the exam they go into it feeling able to be the best they can be.
