I think that everyone should learn a language, not just because it is a great skill to have which is highly regarded by universities and employers, but also because it opens the door to a vast array of experiences, different countries and cultures. Learning a new language can be tough at first, but when you can speak to people from different countries it is really rewarding and helps you to get so much more out of so many things, even just going on holiday. I lived in France for 6 months when I was 10, living with a French family and going to French school, which gave me firsthand experience and sparked a passion for language and culture that has stayed with me. I went on to study French and Spanish at GCSE, A level and University - I graduated in 2018 with a 1st class degree - and have since made an effort to keep up my languages and used my Spanish to travel South America.

I tailor my sessions completely around the students needs and goals, and encourage them to take as active a role in the tutorial as possible. Everyone has the ability to learn a language., its just a case of finding a method that works for the individual. Some people love grammar tables and vocabulary lists (myself included!), but some find that boring. Some may find speaking role plays and videos more engaging, while some are visual learners and some learn through interactive games. I will try my best to plan lessons that you get the most value and enjoyment out of.

Availability: I am currently offering online tutorials only. Generally a tutorial will last 1 hour, and I have most availability on weekday evenings and weekends but send me a message as I have some flexibility depending on your needs.

Experience: I have a first class degree with distinction in French and Spanish and have completed over 50 hours of online tutoring. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and have taught children and adults from complete beginner to advanced, as well as GCSE and A level exam focus.
