My name is Antony and I graduated with a first class degree in Maths from the University of Surrey.
I am keen to use my experiences to help others achieve their potential in Mathematics. I have been tutoring since 2016 with positive results. Many have praised my calmness and patience, and said lessons with me have boosted their confidence.
I utilise worksheets with a mixture of exam (style) questions and occasionally those I make up myself, ensuring core knowledge is maintained, mastered, and then boosted.

Antony is an excellent tutor and has helped my daughter immensley with gaining confidence and improving her grades in A-level Maths. She found his methods of explaining and clarifying problems very effective- my daughter repeatedly mentioned how helpful she found it when Antony would quickly respond to her urgent queries via email, explaining any concepts while also making sure to fully cover those areas in the next session. She explained how this was especially helpful during her A-level exam season. She has also mentioned how flexible his teaching methods were - he would explain concepts in numerous ways until she was fully confident when facing a similar problem. My daughter found Antony`s quick understanding of her strong and weak areas very useful, especially as he would have worksheets full of questions on those weak areas ready for her to attempt. Overall, we would highly recommend Antony as an A-level Maths tutor, as my daughter felt a lot more confident when it came to sitting her A-level exams in the summer.

Antony has been first class in delivering appropriate lessons and stretching and challenging my son to achieve his potential in subject, raising his attainment by two grades. He has identified areas to work on and offered alternative lesson times when required. Each week we receive work sheets, lesson notes and summary documents. I highly recommend Antony as a tutor.

Antony is currently tutoring my daughter for her A Level Maths. He is very knowledgeable, calm and understanding of her needs. He works at her pace and explains things clearly to help her understand her mathematical thinking. Antony has a kind nature and is personable - this has helped my daughter to feel comfortable when attempting difficult maths problems.
