I am a qualified secondary school teacher and a private tutor for GCSE and A-Level Chemistry. I currently working full time as Lead Practitioner (Head of KS3 Science) at a local secondary school.
I hold a Masters in Biotechnology from University of Manchester and a BSc in Chemistry. I also have a PGCE in secondary school Science from Kings College (University of London).
I have over 18 years’ experience in teaching in Ofsted rated `Good` and `Outstanding` state schools and have been a private tutor for the same length of time. I am very experienced with the AQA, OCR, Edexcel and IGCSE syllabus.
I have a proven track record of working with students from local, state, selective and independent schools who have achieved beyond their predicted grades. My lessons are tailored to suit the learners, this will include sessions on exam techniques and exam practice papers.
I am also an experienced examiner for AQA GCSE Chemistry and has been so for a number of years; giving her a wealth of insight into the assessment process. I took on the role of Team Leader for the OCR exam board.
Availability: Monday-Friday evenings. Saturday-All day. Sunday evenings.

My daughter has had only 2 lessons with Mrs.Grace and am pleased to say that am very happy with her teaching style.very encouraging,patient,punctual and teaches according to the child`s learning style.

Even though I did not have the opportunity to have Grace as a tutor for my daughter due to a miss understanding. The Lady showed incredible integrity, which is very rare these days
