I am a very sympathetic Maths Teacher who understands the difficulties that many students have with this subject.
I tailor the sessions to each individual to maximise their potential.
This means sometimes going back to basics -
times tables for example -as many misconceptions about numbers can start early and inhibit progress later on.
I try to make the sessions fun for the student - as learning takes place quicker when its enjoyable!

Availability: Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:30

Experience: I am a PGCE qualified Mathematics teacher and have been tutoring all ages and levels up to GCSE for more than 10 years
At primary level I`ve prepared candidates for the Common Entrance and 11+ exams.
I specialise in getting the students to really understand the basics so that they can gain more confidence as they face more difficult Maths
At secondary level I`ve helped students achieve a higher GCSE grade by focussing on examination and revision techniques - and that all important understanding!
I am also experienced in working with children with SEN such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia
