About me
My name is Mathilde, I am 26 and I am a French native teacher. I have a Masters in English studies and English language teaching. I am currently studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of Edinburgh and will become a qualified French teacher in October.

About my lessons
I love teaching and helping people of all ages to achieve their goals. So whether you would like to revise for exams, improve your conversation / essay writing skills, grammar knowledge, expand your vocabulary, or are a beginner interested in learning French, I will make sure to tailor my lessons to suit your needs and expectations.

Availability: My rates
THE FIRST LESSON IS FREE and consists in an informal chat and an assessment. It is usually shorter than a normal lesson and lasts around 30 minutes. The purpose of the first lesson is to get to know you, understand your needs and expectations and to assess your level in French, so that we can start our learning journey together in the best conditions.

I then charge £15 per 45 minutes. I can offer you face-to-face or online tuition (on Skype) and offer you a discount if you buy a 5 or 10 lesson package.

Experience: About my experience
I have a 5-year teaching and tutoring experience with children, teenagers and adults. From 2011 to 2016, I tutored professionals and students in French and in English both in the UK and in France. I also have a 4-year experience teaching in secondary and primary schools. These experiences involved preparation for national exams, learning French for business and work, general French, vocabulary and grammar development and essay proofreading.
