Kenneth William

I am a recently retired secondary school Headmaster and I have taught Science throughout my career. I have over 30 years experience of teaching KS3 Science, GCSE Physics, Chemistry and Biology and GCSE General Science. I also teach AS and `A` level Biology.
I have taught children of all abilities, across a number of educational settings and helped them achieve their potential.
I spent 8 years teaching at The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, one of the top non-selective state schools in the country. I helped pupils achieve places at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and at medical schools.
I spent 21 years teaching Sciences, KS3,4 and 5 at a tough boys comprehensive school in North London. I was initially Head of Science but ended my career there as Headteacher. I maintained a commitment to teaching examination, both GCSE and `A` level, Science classes during my headship. I was part of the team that led the school from near closure to an `Outstanding` Ofsted judgement. Science results improved dramatically at all key stages and many pupils went on to study at Russell Group universities.I am familiar with the syllabi of most exam boards and have worked as an examiner at KS3 (SATs) and GCSE.
I am now back doing what I enjoy most, teaching and tutoring children. I work part-time at a state school in Richmond and at a college in Kensington. I am teaching all abilities and all 3 sciences.
I pride myself in my long record of examination success and helping children achieve their potential, whatever their abilities.
My lessons are engaging, accessible and personalised with appropriate challenge. I also have vast experience of preparing children for exams,with individual attention to revision strategies and examination technique.

Availability: I am available after school on all weekdays. I am also available on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
