I am a Medical Student at the University of Birmingham with nearly 8 years of experience tutoring. I also help medicine applicants to make the best application and give them the best chance possible. I love Maths, Biology and Chemistry and aim to pass this passion on to each one of my students! Because of this I have a strong understanding of the subjects I teach, for any exam board required. I aim not only to provide an improvement in grades but also help students to enjoy the subject more, and to take an interest in learning. I can’t recommend Richard enough! Our daughter really lacked confidence with Maths and her grades were slipping, averaging a 4 in tests. Now she’s averaging a high 6 and is really proud of her own achievements. The progress is all down to Richards teaching methods, his patience and good-humour. Our daughter confidently tackles difficult maths questions now and sees it as one of her stronger subjects, such a turnaround from only a few months ago! Huge thank you to Richard

Richard is a brilliant tutor. He started tutoring my daughter for her A level maths a couple of months before her exams and has greatly improved her confidence in the subject. He also provided valuable advice about career choices, work experience and personal statements. He has a great approach to teaching and is a very empathetic and accommodating person. Would highly recommend.
