I have been teaching English/English Literature at GCSE and A Level for over twenty five years in a grammar school environment. I have also worked extensively as a senior examiner for one of the key exam boards and as a private tutor. Both Ofsted inspectors and internal school observers have consistently judged my teaching to be `outstanding.`
I have a positive and friendly demeanour that allows me to connect well with young people of all key stages helped by the fact that I love my job!
Availability: Mon - Fri 4 til 9pm.
I offer all my tutoring online and thus there are no geographical restrictions on whom I can tutor.
I am also available for online lessons throughout the day.

Experience: BA(Hons) 2:1 in English Literary Studies.

Susan comes highly recommended. She had a lovely manner with my daughter who was in Year 11. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons and gained a real interest in English Literature in particular. Her confidence improved greatly and she gained a very high GCSE grade in both English exams. She was sad to stop her lessons!

My son has sat his A levels this year and had benefitted enormously from the help Susan has given him. She has been been flexible and supportive and he has learnt a great deal with her guidance and encouragement.
