Information about Samuel

I am a university student at Brunel University London, studying Economics and Management. I have hours of teaching experience with students and adults in Maths and Cantonese.

The right answer is not enough in Maths. Its about understanding how you got there, so you can apply it to every question and get be confident you get the correct answer every time! That is the key in Maths! I have also achieved an A* in GCSE maths so I can teach Mathematics from Primary to GCSE level.

Working with kids is about making the lesson seem like a conversation and having fun with them! That is the best way for them to learn and enjoy themselves whilst learning!

Samuel has shown a lot of patience whilst tutoring my 2 girls who have no Chinese background. He makes the lessons fun and the girls look forward to his lessons every week. They are now able to understand and communicate with me at a very basic level - which I know will improve over time with Samuel

Samuel tutors my children Cantonese. So far so good. He is very cooperative and listens to feedback. My children really like him. They look forward to Cantonese lessons which is such a different vs. us going to a Chinese school.
