I am a keen and enthusiastic tutor who tries to encourage students to challenge their subject and get the most out of learning. As well as being a tutor I have also been Assessment Specialist for the OCR Examination board (the combined examining board of Oxford, Cambridge and RSA) where I was responsible for marking and evaluating examinations within the England and Wales for History and Politics. I have also worked on projects in schools with the Behavioural Insights Team, Bristol University and Harvard University to assess how to improve the attainment methods through different forms of media.

Availability: I am available every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday late afternoon and evenings. I can be available at other times by arrangement.

Experience: I have PhD in History and Politics from the University of Exeter. I am an experienced lecturer and tutor in Higher Education and have been part of the Russell Group`s "Realising Opportunities` programme supporting outstanding A level students achieve the highest possible grades.

My main areas of interest at Twentieth Century political history but I have lectured in British Government and Politics to undergraduates and I am also published in academic journals and in print.
