Dan came to our rescue at great last minute and really helped my son. He quickly assessed my son`s needs and delivered a focussed lesson with compassion and humour. Thankyou. Couldn`t have asked for any more.

We were very pleased to observe Mr Stevens approach to assessing Rosies baseline prior to starting lessons with her. He very accurately assessed that she had the ability but was lacking the confidence. His approach to build her knowledge base and then the constant encouragement was very helpful! She progressed from a predicted C grade to an A* within 3 months. We are very grateful to Mr Stevens for his timely intervention and all his support of Rosie. Best wishes, FCC

Feedback from my daughter:
Having Mr Stevens as my maths tutor made a significant difference during my preparation for my maths iGCSE which I took in January of this year. We focused each week on a different topic, chosen by me, based on what I had been struggling with whilst completing past papers at school. Following each lesson, he gave me a suitable amount of homework to complete which forced me to concentrate on maths throughout the week rather than just on my lesson day. Overall, I thought his teaching methods, resources and his approach to learning were all very good. As a result, having only achieved 39% (C) in my mock exam I finished with 89% (A*) in the real exam which goes to show just how much his lessons paid off.
Many thanks to Mr Stevens for all his help, support and encouragement. Best wishes, Rosie

Excellent Tutor. My daughter was predicted a GCSE Level C and was struggling. With the encouragement, support and help of Daniel-Lee she achieved an A Grade - which was fantastic all round.

Daniel started teaching my children around the second week in December 2017. He was punctual and well prepared with all the maths topics for GCSEs for my daughter who is in Year 10 on his first visit and friendly. He has helped build up my childrens confidence, he uses different methods until he finds the method the children are confident with. He encourages curiosity my children always look forward to see him. He advised my daughter how to get the best out of her maths teacher. He is approachable and always willing to help.

My little girl (10yo) was very nervous about having a tutor and especially nervous about a male tutor too. Daniel-Lee allayed these fears and she came out of the first lesson smiling and skipping. She has built up a great rapport with Daniel. Also he is very helpful to the parents too, guiding us on what he expects from us/teachers and Olivia, and which schools we should aim for when she applies for secondary schools.
I cannot recommend him highly enough. 5 stars!!

My son has always loved maths but during the last year lost his. confidence with the new teacher. Daniel has not only helped him regain his confidence but has revived his enthusiasm for the subject. Daniel quickly established a rapport and in only a few weeks my son has improved immensely.

Mr Stevens has been tutoring my daughter for few weeks now and we couldn`t be happier. He is extremely patient and constantly thinking about different ways to approach learning so my daughter learns maths but also starts enjoying the subject.
Communication-wise, it`s very easy to keep in touch with Mr Stevens to ensure we all work in the same direction.

I`ve used various tutors for my children since they were at primary school. Daniel however really stands out in terms of both his enthusiasm and keenness in encouraging the children to realise their true potential in maths. It shows in the way he always tries to find different approaches of challenging the children`s intellect further. He has been tutoring my children for over 6 months and in that time my daughter has grown in confidence and my son has started to reduce the number of silly errors he makes. Both children have made good progress at school and enjoy being tutored by Daniel. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other parents, as you can see the dedication and care he puts into tutoring and helping students to advance.

Daniel has worked with both my year 7 and year 11 daughters in maths. They are both lacking in confidence in maths but say that he makes things very clear and much much easier than at school. His care, time and patience is very much appreciated
