I am an experienced, enthusiastic and effective Physics tutor who has been either studying or teaching Physics for the past 20 years! I like to make the subject fun and accessible, using simulations and games to develop fundamental concepts in a relaxed way. I balance this through breaking down past paper questions and guiding students in the best way to express themselves clearly and effectively. I have extensive knowledge of the subject and cannot wait to share it with you!

Experience: My love for the subject began in High School in Scotland, after which I went on to study the subject at the University of Manchester. Having secured a first class Masters of Physics I then studied the subject to Postgraduate level, successfully defending my PhD in 2012. Since then I have been employed as a fully qualified Physics and Science teacher and have achieved great success in preparing students for examinations at GCSE, A-Level and IB. I’m now looking to combine my new life as a stay at home dad with tutor work so I can continue to do what I do best.
