I am a friendly person who has spent my career ensuring children gain confidence and make fast progress in their mathematics learning. I quickly identify the areas where they are having difficulties and break these down into small manageable steps to develop understanding. These are then reinforced with a range of questions and activities to ensure they are secure with the new knowledge they have gained.

Availability: Most evenings from 5pm to 7pm and Saturday morning 9am-10am.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have been a teacher in Hertfordshire schools for almost 25 years. I have taught a range of age groups, been Head of Mathematics in several schools, been a Deputy Headteacher and been part of several school management teams. I have tutored children from Primary School right up to A Level maths. I have a degree in Mathematics with Computing.
