Information about Kas
I am a qualified secondary school maths teacher with 3 years classroom experience. During my experience as a school teacher I realised that it is almost impossible to attend to the needs of every student in large class sizes.
I therefore decided to apply my skills and passion for maths on a 1 to 1 basis as an online private tutor.
Maths is a subject that gave me academic success and provided me with financial independence. I am keen to pass this on to students who are not receiving the right level of support and lack confidence in the subject.
I have a consistent and long term approach to tutoring starting from year 7. This ensures there will be enough time to provide support on a weekly basis in order to throughly cover all the GCSE topics.
I have a Masters in Applicable Mathematics from the London School of Economics and have a first class degree in Mathematics and Physics from Queen Mary university of London.
Availability: I have some availability for weekly sessions (online only) on an ongoing basis.

My son had weekly maths tutoring sessions with Kas for about six months leading up to his GCSEs. During that time, Kas played a significant role in helping him prepare for his exams and, just as importantly, in building his confidence. Thanks to Kas’s support, my son felt far less anxious about his exams and much more capable. I noticed a clear improvement in his confidence, and I’m certain that Kas’s guidance helped him achieve a higher grade in his GCSE maths than he would have without the extra support.

Kas is a really great Maths tutor, he creates an informal environment but is very focussed on getting the most out of the lesson. My son finds talking to people difficult but Kas put him at ease really quickly. My son’s confidence increased almost immediately and he says Kas is really helping him to understand areas that he wasn’t secure in previously. I am so pleased we found Kas
