Currently tutoring in English and Mathematics for KS2, KS3, GCSE and IGCSE. I have experience with AQA , OCR and Edexcel syllabuses
I have a honours degree in Psychology and trained as a Maths, Science and English teacher and have the necessary qualifications to do so. I retired as a headteacher to become a teacher trainer at the University of East London as well as for the London Development Agency.
Have been a tutor for many years and have had excellent results in all subjects.
I believe that confidence matters and that success comes from moving on from what we know.
I now have vacancies for students in yr9, yr10 and yr11.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I NO LONGER TUTOR FOR ANY PRIMARY AGES, AS AND A2 subjects nor A level and GCSE sciences
I can provide referees as required.
My fee for the academic year 2021-2022will be £50 per hour Mondays to Fridays. I am not available at weekends.

As I tutor in students` homes, I am prepared to travel in a fairly wide area ..ie, Gidea Park, Upminster, Hornchurch, Rise Park, Chigwell, Collier Row, Elm Park, Rainham etc. Please note that I DO NOT TRAVEL to Harold Hill, Ilford nor to Barking and Dagenham. Sadly, I do not take on tutoring along the Eastern Avenue (A12 and A127)

Have worked with KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and A-level students and adults requiring support in entrance exams to Police Force, apprenticeships, etc.
I have worked with pupils attending Abbs Cross, Albany, Campian, Coopers-Coborn, Emerson Park, Hall Mead, Gaynes, Marshalls Park, Sacred Heart and Sanders Draper schools in Havering, Brentwood High, Brentwood and High Hall schools in Essex and Oaks in Redbridge as well students attending Havering Sixth Form College, Forest School and Chigwell School.
