Information about Chiara
Hi, I`m Chiara.
I am currently a first year Economics and Finance student at the University of Exeter, I`m from Italy and I moved to England last year for my studies.
I speak Italian at native level, I am fluent in English (IELTS: 8/9, before moving to England) and I would love to help anyone who has a desire to learn my language. I was part of the school newspaper for over 3 years, which helped to refine my written language skills, plus I already have experience in teaching languages, as I have taken part in volunteering programmes around the world with the aim of teaching English to local children.
I also have a particular interest in Maths, in which I have already tutored numerous students over the past few years. I studied Maths at A-level standard and it is a large part of my degree, so I am confident I would be a great tutor for GCSE Maths.
With regards to my final year results, I achieved 91/100 in the Italian Diploma (A-level equivalent) over 10 different subjects, scoring 15/15 in English, 15/15 in Italian language and 14/15 in Maths in particular.
I am happy to discuss individual strengths, weaknesses and goals so that I can tailor my lessons to better suit each student`s needs. If you`re interested in my profile, please feel free to contact me and I`ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Availability: I am available both on weekdays and weekends.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have tutored numerous students in Maths over the past few years and I have taught a language to local children while on volunteering programs around the world.
