Information about Helen
I am an innovative, creative and multisensory teacher who can bring success to students who are SPLD or just have missed out or lack confidence in Literacy Skills. I incorporate Executive Functioning (self-regulation) skills, study skills and Mindfulness into all my lessons. I believe that small steps, and recognising the success of these objectives, the best motivator for all students to move forward. All round, holistic learning is my aim so that students feel more confident in school classrooms and more able to deal with the demands of school. Learning how to learn is the key to this.
