I am currently working as the HEAD OF KS3 MATHEMATICS in a Newcastle secondary school.

I can offer primary or secondary tutoring.

I am a confident, enthusiastic and motivational teacher, with qualifications including:

- mathematics GCSE
- mathematics A-level
- diploma of higher education in mathematics & ICT
- BSc(Hons) mathematics
- PGCE secondary education in mathematics
- full CRB

I have an excellent track record with proven results, both in class, and as a private one-to-one tutor.
I can tutor in my own home, or I can travel a reasonable distance if it is more convenient.
I can target students` particular topic needs in order to achieve that all important grade 4/5, or boost their grade to a higher grade 6-9.
I work with past examination papers and provide homework on a weekly basis, which is marked and graded in order to monitor progress.
I work with all examination boards, ages, and abilities.

Recent work has included moving a grade G student to a C within 7 months, moving a grade D student to a B within a similar time frame, and two students achieving B grades, having started out on E grades. I also have a lot of experience with the new examinations, with a P8 score of +0.98 for 19 students.

Availability: Primary or secondary tutoring.

During term time:
Mon-Fri 4:00pm onwards
Sat & Sun all day
(Preferably a weeknight)

During school holidays:
I am available all day, or during the evenings.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: Head of ks3 mathematics in a secondary school.
Tutoring experience for over 11 years.
Consistent proven results, along with references if required.
