I am a Modern Languages Teacher within a Secondary School, with 26 years experience in teaching children from P5 to S5 year groups. I have also enjoyed tutoring pupils in preparation for O Grade, Standard Grade and Higher examinations, or simply teaching conversational Spanish to adults. I am an energetic person who prides herself on her ability to communicate with her employer, clients and pupils alike. My strengths are ‘in the classroom’ or ‘face to face’ teaching, making lessons interesting for my students.

In 1996 I started working part-time in order that I could spend more time with my young family, whilst maintaining my chosen vocation. As a part-time teacher I was given the opportunity to teach primary pupils in helping them prepare for modern languages in secondary school. I found this an extremely refreshing and rewarding experience as younger pupils were very receptive to new languages and showed great interaction between pupils and teacher.

Availability: Available most evenings, Monday-Thursday and some availability during the day upon request, Monday-Thursday
