I have been teaching since 2006 and I have recently returned from Bahrain where I taught Science for five years; both the American and National Curriculum. I am able to teach online as well as face-to face

I have taught students from year 6 to year 13 with varying abilities, including SEN, Gifted & Talented and students for whom English is not their first language; this has enabled me to develop a wide range of teaching skills and styles that allow all students to fully participate in their learning and achieve their potential.

Experience: I am a fully qualified Teacher of Science and I have over 14 years’ experience of teaching Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) across all age and ability ranges at Key Stage 3 and Chemistry, Physics and Biology at Key Stage 4, including BTEC, Applied Science, Combined Science and IGCSE. I have experience of teaching Biology at Key Stage 5, at both AS and A-Level (both in UK and in Bahrain).

Before returning to the UK, my last position was as an ICL (HoD) of Science and I taught American curriculum Science to grade 5 (year 6) students and Biology to grade 11 (year 12) at Ahlia School, Bahrain. From September 2015 until June 2019, I was Head of Department and teacher of Middle School Science at Al Wisam School in Bahrain teaching the UK curriculum. Whilst at Al Wisam, I also taught Combined Sciences to year 10 as well as Biology (IGCSE and AS).
