Hi, I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor with a passion for Science who always strives to do the best for students. Having taught in local state as well as independent secondary schools, I am able to take on responsibility for effective learning and have experience of successfully managing a class.
In my previous career, I have worked as a postdoctoral research scientist in Russell Group universities and subsequently, moved into teaching to share my passion for science with the younger generation.
I am currently offering support to KS3, GCSE Science & A-level Chemistry & Biology students through private tutoring in Kenilworth.

Experience: 8 years experience of teaching and Assessment for Learning: KS3 and GCSE (Science), A-level and FE (L3-5 Chemistry) with mixed abilities & EU Medical EntranceTest coaching (100% pass rate).

* Exam boards taught- AQA (Higher tier, Combined Sciences & Foundation), IGCSE Edexcel A/B, OCR-A & OCR-B including KS2, KS3 & 11+ Maths (CEM)

When I prepare lessons, I try my best to ensure that my students understand the topic and acquire the basic exam techniques. My tutees have shown a significant progress in learning and achieved a higher grade in the school assessments this year.
